Rubber Filler
ENEⓔ Rubber Filler is a pre-formed elastomeric joint seal, manufactured from a high- quality EPDM rubber and reduced in various sizes.
ENEⓔ Rubber Filler is installed by means of hammer and wedge. It can also be fixed with adhesive (if required). One of the major causes of pavement blow-up is the entrance of incompressible entering into the jointing systems.
ENEⓔ Rubber Filler is designed with unique system that allows the pavement to expand and contract during temperature changes.
Installation Advices
ENEⓔ Rubber Filler have to be mounted by machines. For short installation lengths filler profiles can also be mounted by hand, sing wooden or plastic wedge bit and hammer.
ENEⓔ Rubber Filler for the longitudinal joints should be unmolded by use of rotating table on wheels to avoid excessive profile twisting.
ENEⓔ Rubber Filler have to be mounted into the transverse joints.
ENEⓔ Rubber Filler have to be mounted into the longitudinal joints.
The installed profile's top lips have to be below the bevel cut (1-3 mm)
The depth of the fresh installed profile's top lips can be up to 10 mm below concrete surface.
The depth of profile's top lips can increase cluing the life time up to 15 mm below concrete subface, due to traffic loads.
STORAGE
When the material will not be used upon delivery, its shelf life can reach at least 24 months if it is kept in its original packaging and is stored in dry conditions (between 15-250C) protected from heat, frost and direct sunlight.
After the expiration, the use of the material is not
recommended.
